in der Pressekonferenz der Bundesregierung am 1. März 2021 hat Bundeskanzler Sebastian Kurz bekannt gegeben, dass es das Ziel der Regierung sei, im April nächste Öffnungsschritte für die Kultur zu setzen. Bundesminister Rudolf Anschober sagte zudem in einem Fernsehinterview, dass es möglicherweise Öffnungsschritte für die Kultur „Mitte April“ geben könne. Daraus ergibt sich, dass es bis voraussichtlich Mitte April keine Veranstaltungen mit Publikum im Musikverein geben wird. Wir können Sie, liebe Musikfreundinnen und Musikfreunde, daher nur um Geduld bitten – sobald wir wissen, ob wir Ihnen im April bereits wieder Konzerte im Musikverein anbieten können, veröffentlichen wir dies hier auf unserer Website.

  • Due to the special circumstances we are unfortunately unable to offer you our commission service. Instead, subscribers can cancel their tickets up to 14 days before the concert date without any deductions. Cancellation is possible after written notification (e-mail or letter) or in person at the box office.
  • After the above-mentioned return option has expired, the seating plans of each concert will be checked for compliance with the distance regulation. We will contact those customers who need to change their seat separately.
  • We will announce any program changes separately on our website and by e-mail.
  • As usual, the box-office is open one hour before the start of the event.

  • The start of advance booking is regulated individually from concert to concert and depends on the booking situation through subscriptions and programmatic decisions.
  • In many cases, advance booking will start later than usual, but as early as possible.
  • You can still be reminded of the start of advance booking for the individual concerts via our website and will be informed by e-mail on the first day of advance booking.
  • If the booking situation allows this through subscriptions, tickets can be booked directly on the homepage at the beginning of the presale.
  • There is a possibility that no tickets are available at the start of advance booking, but we expect tickets to become available. For those concerts it will be possible to put your ticket request on the online waiting list.

The following provisions apply when participating in guided tours in the music association.

  • Please buy your tour tickets in advance at www.musikverein.at/en/guided-tours and register on our website.
  • The group size is limited to 25 people in order to be able to keep the required minimum distance during the tour.
  • Our tour staff is obliged to enforce the applicable rules on minimum distance. Failure to do so can result in exclusion from the tour.
