Martha Argerich
For Martha Argerich, music is a living, constantly changing process. Despite her early fame and success, she always emphasizes her humility towards music. At the Musikverein, with which she has been closely associated since her debut in 1958, the exceptional pianist is the focus of a series of concerts in 2025/26 with long-time companions.

Andris Nelsons
In the 2025/26 season, the Gesellschaft der Musikfreunde in Vienna will honors Andris Nelsons withancert cycle. The Latvian conductor will conduct the Vienna Philharmonic and “his” Gewandhausorchester Leipzig at the Musikverein – . Inese concerts, he, will cover a broad programmatic range fr,om Haydn and Mozart to Wagner and the composer Dora Pejačević.

Lahav Shani
On September 20, Lahav Shani will conduct the 2025/26 season’s opening concert on the Munich Philharmonic Orchestra podium. Later in the season, the artist will be seen performing at the Musikverein and playing the piano alongside Martha Argerich.

Julia Hagen
In the fall of 2021, at 26, Julia Hagen debuted at the Gesellschaft der Musikfreunde in Vienna. Two years later, she won the UBS Young Artist Award at the Musikverein and subsequently performed with the Vienna Philharmonic under Christian Thielemann. In 2025/26, the Salzburg cellist will be a featured artist at the Musikverein and can be experienced as a soloist and chamber musician.

Lukas Sternath
Lukas Sternath is on the threshold of a global career. In the 2025/26 season, the young Viennese pianist presents himself at the Musikverein in various ways. In the Brahms Hall, a special cycle was created together with the pianist.
