Welcome to the 2023/24 season at the Musikverein – we are happy to present you with a top-class programme once again! We have developed special concert series together with our selected artists in focus. An outstanding composer of our time is at the centre of the season: Rebecca Saunders, and in our themes and festivals, we invite you to encounter selected composers, works, musical epochs and ideas in more detail, to rediscover the familiar and to hear completely new things.

Focus on Artists
In the 2023/24 season, the focus will be on three young artists, in addition to Christian Thielemann and Riccardo Muti. The conductor Karina Canellakis, Santtu-Matias Rouvali, and the pianist Beatrice Rana have developed special concert series with us.
