Current information on events

taking into account the prevention of infection with COVID-19

Dear friends of music,

in the press conference of the federal government on April 6, 2021, Federal Chancellor Sebastian Kurz announced that it was the government's goal to set next opening steps for culture in Mai. This means that there will be no events with an audience at the Musikverein until probably Mai. We can therefore only ask you, dear friends of music, for patience. As soon as we know when we can offer you concerts at the Musikverein again, we will publish this here on our website.

You can also sign up for our newsletter, then you will automatically receive an e-mail from us when there are concerts at the Musikverein again.

Stay heathy and kind regards,

Musikverein Wien

  • Due to the special circumstances we are unfortunately unable to offer you our commission service. Instead, subscribers can cancel their tickets up to 14 days before the concert date without any deductions. Cancellation is possible after written notification (e-mail or letter) or in person at the box office.
  • After the above-mentioned return option has expired, the seating plans of each concert will be checked for compliance with the distance regulation. We will contact those customers who need to change their seat separately.
  • We will announce any program changes separately on our website and by e-mail.
  • As usual, the box-office is open one hour before the start of the event.
