Der Wiener Mozart 1785/86

Ein Programmschwerpunkt mit Leif Ove Andsnes, dem Mahler Chamber Orchestra und Projekten für Kinder

„Hier ist doch gewis das Clavierland!“, hatte Mozart einst aus Wien geschrieben. Und in diesem Klavierland bleibt der Musikverein ein Zentrum für spannende Erkundungen.

Beginnend mit der aktuellen Saison nimmt der Musikverein in Programmschwerpunkten gemeinsam mit exzellenten künstlerischen Partnern auch das Œuvre einzelner Komponisten in den Fokus. Leif Ove Andsnes und das Mahler Chamber Orchestra machen im November den Anfang und stellen Werke ins Zentrum von drei Abenden, die Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart in den Jahren 1785/86 in Wien komponiert hat – Konzerte, die ein großes Spektrum zeigen von Orchestermusik, Klavierkonzerten, Kammermusik und Lied und die weit ausstrahlen bis zu Kinder-, Jugend- und Familienprojekten. Konzerte auch, die ganz besondere Resonanz haben: Dass das „Clavierland“ im Archiv der Gesellschaft der Musikfreunde gegenwärtig ist, davon zeugen eindrucksvoll Originale wie das Autograph des Klavierkonzerts d-Moll, KV 466, oder auch die Manuskripte von Kadenzen für eine Reihe von Mozart-Klavierkonzerten, die ein Interpret der Ära Mozart notiert hat.  Im Programmschwerpunkt „Der Wiener Mozart 1785/86“ werden Archivalien wie diese lebendig, und erstmals startet in diesem Kontext auch eine Veranstaltungsreihe zu Archiv, Bibliothek und Sammlungen der Gesellschaft der Musikfreunde in Wien für Kinder, Jugendliche und Familien: „Die Musikforscher“.
