Svetlina Stoyanova, Mezzosopran

Die Gewinnerin des Gesangswettbewerbs Neue Stimmen 2018, die junge Bulgarin Svetlina Stoyanova gehört seit der Saison 2018/19 zum Ensemble der Wiener Staatsoper. Im Frühjahr 2019 erhielt sie den 6. Daniel Froschauer-Preis Sie wurde 1991 in Bulgarien geboren und studierte am Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. Dort hat sie bereits im Jahr 2016 ihren Master of Music erworben. Ihr Repertoire umfasst Rollen wie Rosina in „Il barbiere di Siviglia“, Cherubino in „Le nozze di Figaro“, Dorabella in „Così fan tutte“, die Titelrolle in „The Rape of Lucrezia“ sowie Juno in “Semele”. Sie ist Mitglied der von Yehudi Menuhin gegründeten Organisation Live Music Now und wirkt als Solistin bei Benefizkonzerten zu Gunsten dieser Organisation mit. Bei ihrem Debüt im Wiener Musikverein stellt sie sich mit einem brieten Repertoire vor. Das Programm bietet in Gruppen zusammengefasst Lieder britischer, französischer, spanischer, deutschsprachiger, russischer und italienischer Komponisten, wobei letztere mit Donizetti und Rossini den Bogen zurück zur Oper spannen.
