1-to-1 concerts: “Close by”

On 26 March, the Vienna Musikverein and the Brunnenpassage invite you to a unique project as part of their collaboration. Under the title “Nah dran”, interested parties can enjoy a personal concert. In addition to an intensive musical experience, it is also intended to provide space for exchange and discussions and lasts around 30 minutes.

One musician performs a concert at a time. In the Brunnenpassage, the artists perform in front of small groups of 10 to 15 people; in the Musikverein, they meet only one listener at a time. In the Musikverein, the concert series is spread over the entire house, leading to unusual venues that are usually not accessible to the audience.

Well-known names have confirmed their participation in the project. Among the performers are Anneleen Lenaerts (harp), Marino Formenti (piano), Lara Kusztrich (violin), Jelena Popržan (viola , vocals), Oscar Antolí (clarinet, caval), Salah Ammo (bouzouk), Igor Gross (percussion), Maria Gstättner (bassoon) and Nikola Djorić (accordion).

The artist, instrument, program, and exact venue (in the Musikverein) remain a surprise until the concert. The focus is on the unique experience of being able to experience music directly and up close in an unusual setting, that goes beyond the usual conventions of the concert business. The beneficial effect of this close musical experience allows the audience to have an unforgettable concert experience.
