As it's getting warmer and warmer in the city the Musikverein becomes more quiet every day! When musicians are playing and singing elsewhere in the summer the Musikverein is free for visitors from all over the world. Take your chance and come to one of the many guided tours offered in July and August! Tours are held in German, English, Italian and Spanish. The Golden Hall looks forward to your visit!

Summer opening times
From 1 July to 31 August 2010 the box office is open from Monday to Friday between 9am and 12am. On Saturday, Sun- and Holidays the office is closed. From 1 September 2010 the usual opening times will be in operation again. We wish all music lovers a relaxing and enjoyable summer!

New arrangement for advance sales deadlines
From the beginning of the 2010/11 season, customers will have the opportunity to purchase single tickets for concerts earlier than was previously possible. From this point onwards, the advance sales period for members of the Society of Music Lovers will generally begin two months ahead of concert dates. Common advanced ticket sale will begin one week later. We are sure that you will be delighted by these changes, offering you as they do the opportunity to purchase tickets for the Musikverein concerts of your choice even earlier and over a longer period than before. These new sales deadlines come into effect on 2 August 2010. Regarding September 2010 concerts, the following special conditions apply: Advance ticket sales for members begin on 2 August 2010, and common ticket sale on 4 August 2010.
